Biography
Born in Philadelphia, Elise Partridge wrote three books of poetry that earned her several award nominations. Her second book, Chameleon Hours, which was informed by her experiences with breast cancer, won the Canadian Authors Association Poetry Award in 2009. Well-known and widely respected in the Canadian literary community for her meticulous writing and her generous spirit, Elise Partridge died of colon cancer in 2015.
