Ange Mlinko

Ange Mlinko is a professor, critic, and author of several acclaimed collections of poetry, including Distant Mandate, Marvelous Things Overheard, and Venice. Her work has been awarded the Randall Jarrell Award in Criticism, the Frederick Bock Prize, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. She is the former poetry editor of the Nation, and her work has appeared in Poetry, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The London Review of Books, and The New York Review of Books. Born in Philadelphia, Mlinko has taught poetry at Brown University, the Naropa University Summer Writing Program, Al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, the University of Houston, and the University of Florida, where she currently teaches. Foxglovewise is her seventh full-length poetry collection.
