3 Winnipeg students selected by Poetry In Voice

Two Winnipeg students reached the semifinals of the national Poetry In Voice recitation competition and a third is heading to Calgary to participate in a new all-expenses-paid poetry workshop entitled FutureVerse.

Justine Rory Ramos, from Maples Met School, is one of 16 students invited to the workshop April 17-20. It’s being held in connection with the National Finals of Poetry In Voice. Winnipeg semifinalists in the annual event were Shanice Raymond, from Elmwood High School, and Rohan Mariash, from Miles Macdonell Collegiate.
