Biography
The sister of William Wordsworth, Romantic poet and prose writer Dorothy Wordsworth was intimately connected to her brother’s work. She lived with William before and after his marriage, and they shared a love for the natural world. Though she didn’t publish her own work during her lifetime, she left behind journals, poems, travelogues, and children’s stories. Like their friend Samuel Taylor Coleridge, she struggled with opium addiction.
