Write a “letter” poem, addressed to someone you care about. It can start “Dear so-and-so” (fill in the name), or in whateverway you might begin a letter, then end with your own name, as if you’d signed it. In between, say as best you can whatever you would like to say to that person. It can be happy, sad, angry, any emotion you want to express to that person in particular. But do have a particular person in mind when you write: it will focus your thoughts.
