Poetry in Voice takes over Canada!

If you like exquisite poetry, dramatic contests and lively audiences, don’t miss the first National Poetry in Voice Competition on Wednesday, May 15th at Isabel Bader Theatre. Nine high-school students from across the country will compete for $25,000 in prizes and awards by reciting poems in English and French!

Their recitations of classic and contemporary poetry will be judged by renowned poets Kevin Connolly, Lynn Crosbie, Andrée Lacelle, and Pierre Nepveu, and actress Fiona Reid. The evening will be hosted by Johanne Blais of CBC Radio’s C’est la vie.
