Biography

Born and raised in the Transcona neighbourhood of Winnipeg, Jon Paul Fiorentino is a poet and novelist. His first novel, Stripmalling, was shortlisted for the 2009 Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction, and his most recent book of poetry, Needs Improvement, was shortlisted for the A. M. Klein Prize for Poetry. He lives in Montreal, where he teaches creative writing at Concordia University and edits Matrix magazine.
