Travel to Vancouver by Train or Plane
- Our UNIGLOBE travel agent, Maureen Ross, will book your train or plane tickets.
- Have your parent or guardian contact Maureen as soon as possible and no later than April 4, 5pm EST:

Travel to Vancouver by Car, Bus, or Public Transit
- If you can travel by car, bus, or public transit, we ask you to use these modes of transportation.
- Have you already requested a hotel parking spot?
- Please do not use your credit card to pay for your parking.
- Poetry In Voice will pay for 4 nights of parking in the hotel parkade.
- Pull up in the front of the hotel, check-in, and ask the front desk for directions to the parkade.
- You can be reimbursed for:
- Gas (one car per student) for round trip travel (home-to-hotel) on May 12 and May 16.
- Coach bus tickets for round trip travel (home-to-downtown Vancouver) on May 12 and May 16.
- Public transit for round trip travel (home-to-hotel) on May 12 and May 16.
Getting Around Vancouver
- For all scheduled PIV events, you'll be accompanied by a PIV representative or a chaperone.
- For personal outings, during free time and dinner on May 14, you will always pair up, ensuring at least two people are together for any independent activities.
Hotel
- Confirm your hotel stay on the general form.
- No changes to your accommodation can be made later.
- Chaperones will be onsite.
Severe Allergies
- We cannot guarantee allergen-free meals.
- If you have a severe allergy, or special dietary needs email Ariane Tapp as soon as possible to discuss options.
Reimbursements
- For pre-authorized meal reimbursements, and car, bus or public transit reimbursements, submit this form by Sunday, June 1st, and include:
- Scanned itemized receipt(s) and proof of payment.
- Your name and email for the INTERAC e-transfer.
