Travel to Quebec City by Train or Plane

Our UNIGLOBE travel agent, Maureen Ross, will book your train or plane tickets.

If you can travel by car, bus, or public transit, we ask you to use these modes of transportation.
If you’re travelling to Quebec City by train or bus, be sure to choose downtown Quebec City (Québec centre-ville) as your destination, and wait until you reach the Gare du Palais terminal before disembarking. Do not disembark at Gare de Ste-Foy.
Have you already requested a hotel parking spot?
- Please do not use your credit card to pay for your parking.
- Poetry in Voice will pay for four nights of parking in the hotel parkade.
- When you arrive, pull up in the front of the hotel and ask the front desk for directions to the parkade.
You can be reimbursed for:
- Gas (one car per student) for round-trip travel (home to hotel) on April 25 and April 29
- Coach bus tickets for round-trip travel (home to downtown Quebec City) on April 25 and April 29
- Public transit for round trip travel (home to hotel) on April 25 and April 29

For all scheduled PIV events, you'll be accompanied by a PIV representative or a chaperone.
For personal outings, during free time, and for dinner on April 27, you will always pair up, ensuring at least two people are together for any independent activities.

We cannot guarantee allergen-free meals.
If you have a severe allergy or special dietary needs, email Ariane Tapp as soon as possible to discuss options.

For pre-authorized reimbursements for meals or transportation (car, bus, and/or public transit), submit this form by Sunday, May 24, and include:
- Scanned itemized receipt(s) and proof of payment
- Your name and email for the INTERAC e-transfer
