About me
I have worked in a small, rural school for 15 years and have explored poetry with students from Grade 7-12. When studying poetry, I like to give students the time to delve into a poet's work and then ponder, discuss, and debate. I want students to make connections to the text and come to their own conclusions regarding an author's intent or message. My optimistic nature means ultimately I hope they love poetry as much as I do!
