Sarah Nitert
Hi! My name Is Sarah Nitert!
I am a 4th year arts and sociology student at Queens University! I am currently in a course at Queens called “writing in the community” where us as students get paired up with a non profit organization and help that organization with tasks and writing initiatives. As you can probably assume! I got paired up with this amazing organization! It really was a fate match as I am actually on my way to becoming a teacher and have already achieved my Early Education diploma.
As someone who’s always had a deep love for both poetry and working with kids, I’m thrilled to bring these passions together through Poetry in Voice! I specialize in creating hands-on, crafty activities that spark children’s imaginations, using poems as a fun gateway to creative expression. I’m all about turning poems into interactive, unforgettable experiences. With years of experience working with children and a commitment to giving them unique learning opportunities, I thrive on creating lesson plans that let kids see, feel, and experience poetry in a whole new way. Bringing poetry to life for young minds is not just a job it’s a joy!
