Biography
Born in Renfrewshire, Scotland, Kathleen Jamie has received many awards, including the Somerset Maugham Award, the Forward Prize, a Creative Scotland Award, the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, and the Scottish Book of the Year Award. She lives in Fife and teaches Creative Writing at University of St. Andrews. Jamie was shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize in 2003 and served as a judge for the prize in 2010.
