Congratulations to these amazing young poets from across the country! You can click on each poet to read a poem from them as well as their bio. This year we had over 1,500 submissions to VOICES/VOIX, so the competition was fierce. We were blown away by the talent, passion, and beauty of the poems submitted. The 16 FutureVersers will join us for an all-expenses-paid four-day poetry intensive in Quebec City from April 25-29, where they will work with celebrated poets, publishers, and artists.
New this year was the first ever FutureVerse People's Choice Award, which received nearly 4,300 votes! The winners are Harper Swan, Bishop Carroll High School, Calgary, AB, for the English poem "Falter" and Monica Kelada, Collège Ste-Marcelline, Montreal, QC, for the French poem "Achillée Millefeuille."
